Creamy, cozy, but with a fruity twist - Cocoa Sunset surprises
I expected a classic sweet gourmand - whipped cream, chocolate, vanilla. And yes, you get that too. But what surprised me was this fruity moment right at the beginning. I couldn't quite place it at first - for me, it was almost like passion fruit, slightly sour, a bit tropical. And lo and behold: It contains passion fruit and peach, according to Zara. This gives the fragrance a brief ray of sunshine before it settles creamy on the skin.
The drydown is exactly what I had hoped for - cozy, warm, almost like a dessert on the couch, but still fruity. Not a heavy chocolate bomb, more like a mild vanilla milkshake with a hint of cocoa. Very wearable, not too loud, more intimate.
The longevity is really quite decent - after about 5 hours, I need to reapply. But to be honest? For the price and this cozy-fruity vibe, it hardly bothers me.
Cocoa Sunset is: comfortable, sweet, but with a little twist. I would buy it again.
