Summer of Childhood

The work of the day is done...
I sit down with a cup of aromatic tea on the terrace...
The slowly setting sun casts its diffuse light in the colors of slightly faded lemons...
Its light dazzles me and I close my eyes...
A gentle breeze carries the scent of herbal hay to my nose,
relaxes me...
My thoughts wander far away,
to my childhood...
Back then we jumped over the hay bales,
let ourselves fall and sank into it...
We carried that scent with us...
I remember the light summer dresses and skirts,
the blouse that always hung out of the waistband,
the grass stains on it,
and the braids that were always a bit crooked,
because I couldn't sit still...
And I remember the laughter of our childhood,
that echoed through the summer...
There once stood a jasmine bush under the trees,
but that was a long time ago...
Its scent fades in my thoughts...
Your calling pulls me out of my dream...
I smile, you just showered
and smell creamy-fresh...
I gesture to the spot next to me...
you sit down...
I lean my head on your shoulder and doze off again...
Your scent blends into my memory...
Relaxation.....
White clouds drift across the sky....
06130 is an exciting brand to test from Grasse.
This one is my favorite,
because it has an almost ZEN-like effect on me.
But there is something to criticize.
The distribution is in the USA.
Only payable by credit card. Customs.
It would be so easy to deliver the fragrances from France.
In another USA shop, with Paypal, they are significantly more expensive,
plus shipping and of course customs.
Fortunately, I was able to snag some sample vials here, and thus satisfy my curiosity.
P.S.: This one has since moved in. And I actually found a shop in Germany that has a few of them.
