Ginger circus
The fragrance is anything but boring! It starts with a surprise, a ginger clown jumps out of nowhere and starts drumming, shouting and jumping around laughing to death. The theater is spectacular, but doesn't last long. A few minutes later, satisfied with his performance, he unexpectedly invites us to tea together. As the conversation continues, he remains lively, humorous and adventurous. A wonderful summer fragrance, refreshing, but rather unconventionally refreshing. I am very happy to have discovered it!

Green ginger
If you like the smell of fresh ginger, and I don't mean the dry powder stuff for seasoning, but this citrusy, fresh and pure smell is right here. Eau de Thé et Gingembre enters with a strong ginger note, the citrus notes can be smelled shortly after. The sweeter base notes then appear in the drydown, somewhat swallowing the citrusy ones. A very pleasant, friendly freshy that gives a lot of pleasure briefly and then fades to a small residual whiff on the skin fairly quickly. However, layering with the 100bon scents is extremely fun, especially heavier notes like Gingembre et Vetivert Sensuel go great with it and add durability. Sillage with these purely natural Eau de Parfums and Concentrés is rather low

Aura with finger snap
The opening citrus freshness is quickly joined by a slightly scratchy and sweaty, gently unclean, yet by no means unpleasant note, which I cannot assign here. The usual suspect for such things (cumin) may not fit very well. Soon our uncleanliness glides into the latent cheese foot and solves the identification problem at least for the time being, because now I point to the bergamot as a small sting in the overall picture.

The citrus fruit withdraws quickly and ginger is presented, at first rather in the direction of ginger candy than freshly sliced. I actually wonder if the interferer from above wasn't a ginger illusion. On the second test day this seems plausible to me.

White flowers are at best a rim aroma. The fragrance is rather (considering its theme) surprisingly green - to which the special spice of ginger certainly contributes its part. Unsupported I would also have typed on a contribution from lemon verbena.

Apropos lemon: Around noon - in order to at least follow the topic of tea benevolently - I think of soluble lemon tea for self-stirring, set on a herbaceous base. That's not exactly what I had expected in terms of tea, but it's still quite a good guess. In the early afternoon 'Eau de Thé & Gingembre' dims gradually. Maybe not, maybe at the end a green tea à la Earl Grey will beckon you too.

Conclusion: In the external effect more aura than perfume. But not without snapping my finger, finally you find yourself in the immediate vicinity of the skin to the back through the aforementioned sweaty note, which - despite the above attempt at explanation - reminds me most of cumin.

I'd like to thank Bellemorte for the rehearsal.

Sunny bergamot and ginger
On my skin, Eau de Thé & Gingembre is primarily a bright, sunny, refreshing bergamot fragrance. I don't perceive any significant "tea" note; it's probably the bergamot that's meant to evoke something akin to Earl Grey tea. The ginger here doesn't show much of its juicy fresh spiciness, but is rather dry and slightly woody, which grounds the bergamot nicely.

As time progresses, the initial tartness of bergamot is gradually replaced by a tender sweetness, which might be the jasmine. The vivid, vegetal fragrance of bergamot is also chewed away by a more silent grapefruit, while the ginger shimmers like ember amist the quiet, abstract woody base.

I got an overall longevity around 5 hours, and the fragrance doesn't project any further from the proximity of the skin.

As a sunny sweet citrus fragrance, Eau de Thé & Gingembre can easily put a smile one's face. Personally, I find it quite similar to Guerlain Bergamote Calabria, but with a more attractive price. If you happen to be looking for an uplifting, carefree, sweet citrus perfume, I think Eau de Thé & Gingembre would work quite well.

Smells like powdered ginger lemonade from my childhood. Nothing spectacular, but it's sparkling fresh and carefree fragrance.
