4711 delivers another quite successful fragrance with not so great durability
It's amazing, I joined Parfumo a year ago and now I've written over 300 reviews. The Acqua Colonia Starfruit & White Flowers is a very pleasant fragrance for me, which unfortunately, as is so often the case, leaves a lot to be desired in terms of longevity and sillage. After 4 to 5 hours, you can't smell much more.
The top note offers star fruit as well as citrusy hints of grapefruit and pomelo. The heart note is creamy with jasmine flowers. And the base? I don't notice much new. It still smells slightly citrusy but then rather weak. There could be so much more here... Why so weak? I don't understand it...
In the end, we are left with a rather summery fragrance that I would classify as more feminine than unisex. 4711 has brought out some really good stuff but I find the longevity really weak and almost a cheek...
