Ireland? At Most in the Botanical Garden
I recently had the chance to test this Acqua Colonia in Glockengasse in Cologne. A very floral cologne with somewhat better sillage than the classic colognes.
However, one imagines the flower fields in Ireland quite differently. And looking at the fragrance pyramid reveals that while we may be in Ireland, citrus notes, acacia, orange blossoms, and jasmine are certainly not found in the open fields of Ireland, but rather in a botanical garden, an orangery, or a greenhouse.
And this could be true in almost any other place in the world. Nothing points to Ireland.
Be that as it may, the theme of flowers is certainly implemented and very prominent.
That these can only be synthetic flowers goes without saying given the very fair price.
I don't see the scent as suitable for a man; even as unisex, I wouldn't categorize it that way.
I can't perceive the woody notes even after hours when the scent is only detectable up close.
It's not a floral blockbuster, but the fragrance will find its admirers.
I am enthusiastic about the bottle. The glass looks elegantly adorned and is colored in the Intense series in a way that corresponds to how the scent could be categorized on a color scale.
One can remain a fan of the house 4711, even if one cannot necessarily wear every creation. I will continue to actively follow the refreshing work on always new themes and combinations.
