Very feminine and unfortunately weak on the skin
Objectively speaking, I would describe the "Acqua Colonia Intense - Floral Fields of Ireland | 4711" as a relatively successful fragrance. It is marketed as unisex, but in my opinion, it is very feminine and therefore not really wearable for me in everyday life. My best friend feels quite similarly. Somehow, I also find the scent a bit old-fashioned. The longevity is very weak. After 2 to 3 hours, the fragrance's connection with my skin abruptly ends. Unfortunately, I can hardly smell anything at that point. The sillage is similarly meager - the "Acqua Colonia Intense - Floral Fields of Ireland | 4711" does not really stand out.
The top note starts fruity, green, and floral with aromas of mandarins, lemon peels, osmanthus, and a hint of peach. In the heart note, this floral aspect is intensified by jasmine and orange blossoms, geraniums, lilacs, and acacias. The base remains floral and has a slightly woody and balsamic scent of sandalwood and cedar.
This fragrance does not remind me of Ireland at all. Perhaps that is why I am a bit disappointed, as I expected much more in that regard.
