Fine Perfumery by Schneider
Cem Mustafa Abaci is a designer and tailor from Frankfurt who brings fine fabrics, mostly from his own creations, to the market. Locally, he is definitely known for his extravagant yet more than wearable fashion, but his name is less recognized on a broader scale, which is why his very successful perfumes have not gained high visibility on this platform, even though Frankfurt residents do frequent it.
There is a feeling that interest in good perfumery has increased in recent years. More and more shops are adding niche products to their offerings. Almost every men's outfitter and tailor, and even barbers, now have cosmetics and specifically perfumes in their range. However, in this case, they mostly feature the well-known classic representatives of the art of perfumery. Abaci is different. Not only does he offer niche perfumes of various directions in his store, but he has also developed his own product earlier on, which was followed years later by this one, Abaci II. Recently, Abaci Edition was released, which is hardly known here.
For me, Abaci II is an autumn fragrance due to its numerous components. The fine rum note and warm smoke are immediately noticeable and run through the entire scent progression. Unlike many other fragrances with rum, this one is not overly sweet, as it is quickly overshadowed by other ingredients. I prefer not to break this fragrance down into individual components. It is a complete work that can be worn with casual style as well as business outfits. The longevity is decent, accompanying you through the workday without being too overpowering. Sometimes I wish it were a bit more present.
The presentation includes a sturdy box reminiscent of a glasses case. Simple, elegant, space-saving. This way, the fragrance can be taken on trips.
The bottle is made of dark transparent glass with a dark brown wooden cap.
Concentration EdP, 100 ml.
Price 150 €.
