Ode Acca Kappa 2016

The enchantingly beautiful atmosphere of Acca Kappa fragrances always draws me in. I know almost all of them now and am always delighted by their cheerful lightness. Even the slightly deeper notes from Acca Kappa are fine and fragrant treasures. They may not stand for particularly dramatic scent developments; but that is particularly pleasant, relaxing, and very typical.
However, there is a striking exception.

Heavy, simple, thick-walled glass.
Ode - a wonderfully bitter sharp opening with slightly oily wood. Dark, heavy, and softly the carefully laid rose on smoky oud and patchouli...

And just like that, everything has vanished again. A brief enchantment - a hundred-year-old story.
The chamber in the castle tower, the old woman at the spinning wheel, the spindle, Sleeping Beauty, the thorn hedge ...

Dense and very close, Ode lingers for a few hours.
An autumn scent. Last days of September. Early cool evenings, first shadows on the path.
Dark red, beasts, and violet.
Cello sound,
minor ...
