Cedro Virtuoso Acqua di Parma 2026

I really liked ACQUA DI PARMA "Cedro Virtuoso". Lots of wood, but nothing dry or rough. It’s creamy, warm, a little sweet, and the hazelnut works really well.
It also brought back a memory. My grandfather had a small carpentry workshop next to our house in Spain, and I used to spend hours there with him while he worked. Sawdust, freshly cut wood, that warm dusty smell…
Honestly, just for that, there’s a good chance I’ll end up buying a bottle.

At the airport, I often pay little attention to the salespeople for the different brands. I’m rarely interested in the fragrances they want to show me, because I think the chances of liking some randomly selected new scent are incredibly slim.
Unlike my beloved husband. He’s happy to be shown new things, takes every scent strip and lets himself be sprayed with perfume (I’d be afraid I’d feel sick from the newly acquired cloud of fragrance for the entire flight)… just like the day before yesterday.
Acqua di Parma, one of his favorite brands, is at a stand we don’t pass by in a hurry. Of course - we’d love to smell the new fragrance. Wham - a strip is held under my nose. Phew… what is that? Hazelnut?! I wrinkle my nose. No, thank you! I move on.
Him: absolutely thrilled. “I want this for the colder season!!!” I agree, but I’ve already been busy sniffing my way around somewhere else for a while.
So we wander around. Later, at the gate, I have to admit: my husband smells good enough to eat. Wow. What is he wearing?
He had sprayed Cedro Virtuoso on his arm. “I’ve already taken a photo of the bottle.” I can tell he really wants the fragrance. And I have to admit: so do I.
The hazelnut from the opening is gone. All of a sudden, I get something entirely different. Woody, creamier, a gourmand dream! How can anything smell so incredibly alluring?
I’m on Parfumo in an instant. I love cedar, and everything else listed, too. Just the hazelnut - what is it doing there? Does it play an important role in the formula? But it doesn’t really matter; it’s been gone for a long time.
I’m completely smitten. How can you create a cedary gourmand? It’s definitely a success.
Every fifteen minutes, I ask for my beloved’s arm and simply enjoy. This is the first perfume we’ll buy together.
And suddenly I’m so grateful for my curious truffle pig. It found a treasure. The best discoveries really do come completely unexpectedly.
