Private Number Aigner Eau de Toilette Opalisée

Private Number (Eau de Toilette Opalisée) comes from the 90s and has a correspondingly powerful presence straight from the bottle: the EDT presents itself like a modern perfume extract. It is also available as a perfume spray, which I have not tested yet..
The initially herbaceous-spicy and resinous scent gradually reveals warm, balsamic, and fruity notes such as apricot or mango, becoming softer and gaining a bit of sweetness. The resinous spicy-peppery tones continue to resonate while blackcurrant and white flowers make their appearance. To prevent it from becoming too bright, a variety of woody and mossy facets are added, along with a few raisins for rounding.
It is as if Gundel Gaukeley, sitting on a mossy tree trunk, brewed a captivating and, at high doses, also numbing elixir in her copper cauldron from the treasures of the forest and other ingredients, to incapacitate Scrooge McDuck and the guards of the gold vault, thus finally obtaining the lucky coin.
I find the bell-shaped glass bottle in vintage style very appealing. I also appreciate the rich scent. It is something for special occasions. Best in the evening, in autumn or winter, it is - well dosed - worth a journey through time.
