Great Memories
Actually, I didn't want to buy any more fragrances from Aigner after "Private Number" disappointed me so endlessly. After that scratchy plastic fruit salad scent, I was completely fed up with the brand. The reason I dared to make the purchase today is due to the comments from pudelbonzo and Chnokfir. And of course, because Rossmann has the 125 ml spray bottle on sale for an incredible €13.99.
Everything that the two wrote resonates with me: a slight citrus note, subtle floral hints, and then a lot of woody-fresh spice that remains at a consistent level for a long time without ever becoming intrusive or overwhelming. I want to leave it at that and not break the scent down into its components, as one can really overanalyze a fragrance. The statement works as a whole.
And it reminds me incredibly of a scent I loved in the nineties. It could almost be a scent twin. Back then, I preferred fragrances from Mülhens and Jade. So mainly Sumatra Rain, Galileo de Viento, Jade Zoom, or Jade Feature come to mind. Sumatra Rain was fruitier and less woody, Jade Zoom sweeter, if I remember correctly. So really, only Galileo de Viento or Jade Feature are left. I don't really care, because I am absolutely happy with this scent and am extremely annoyed that I didn't try it much earlier.
For the blissful memories, the scent itself, and the absolute value for money (even I, as a little penny pincher, would gladly pay the MSRP of €47.99 for this fragrance), I can only give it 10 points. I simply like this scent 100 percent. If the bottle size of 125 ml weren't so generously sized and if Rossmann didn't regularly have this fragrance on offer, I would buy two more packs right now.
I thank all the commentators who have dedicated themselves to this fragrance. Without you, this great scent would have remained unknown to me. A fragrance that is largely underrated and misunderstood, while aquatic sugary waters are praised to the skies.

I completely agree with your comment. Right now, other fragrances are getting all the hype, and a gem like this one gets overlooked. Otherwise, I haven't found any Aigner scents that I really liked.

Sounds kind of interesting. Next week it's available for under 10 bucks, so I guess I should check it out... Thanks for the tip!
