Wisal Dhahab Ajmal 2015

This is hands down one of the most beautiful scents I have ever smelt. My favourite scents used to be orientals from Bond no 9, Amouage and Kilian. However I have to honestly say I prefer Wisal Dhahab before any of them.

This fragrance makes a statement. It is powerful, feminine, sexy and elegant. Above all, it is classy. A true Arabian Nights scent which is truly luxurious.

I blind bought this and could not believe my luck when I sprayed it on my skin.

To conclude, a beautiful regal heavenly scent. Try it and you will love it...

Wisal Dhahab is one of Beautiful Scent from Ajmal Perfumes. Its Soft, Sweet, Pleasing & Stunning are Words to Describe it. Though its Unisex Perfume & can be used by both, Its bends a little towards feminine. Its One of my Top 20 Favorite Perfumes & My Wife too Loves this Perfume V Much.

All Notes are well Balanced. The Top begins with a Fruity Fresh as it has Apple, Peach, Pear, Grape Fruit & Mandarin note followed by a Floral, It has Rose, Jasmine, Orchid & Geranium as Heart Notes and Base of Woody Musky as it has Sandalwood, Ceder Wood, Patchouli & Musk as Base Notes.

It smells V Exotic & Royal and Its V Affordable by Price, Projection & Longevity & Presentation are Good. Speayer is Nice and Pours Juice Nicely/ My Rating is 4.4 out of 5. Great Job Ajmal

Yesterday, I briefly published a comment about the fragrance, firmly believing that this scent here was a Rasasi... it is not, I was mistaken, but while testing, I would have sworn it could only be a Rasasi. Thanks again to Your Majesty Cleopatra :o) *Courtly bow*

My thoughts on the fragrance are too numerous for a statement, so here’s a little comment on Wisal Dhahab.

The scent descriptions from Profuma and Minigolf appealed to me greatly, and now I had the opportunity to attempt a fragrance swap with Minigolf. Liqueur-like, fruit orchard, it sounded so wonderful to me. But no, again no Oriental for me. The top note is completely missing for me, no booze, no fruits. Only geranium, metallic and cool. This cool and brittle metal, as I have already perceived in some fragrances from Rasasi, like Busaini and Oud al Mubakhar from Rasasi, for example. And I did not like it. A kind of "Rasasinade" that is now also haunting me with an Ajmal? Well, I’d rather stick with the Guerlainade or the Chanel DNA. Wisal Dhahab lasts long, but changes very little on my skin. After a while, a layer of wood joins the geranium, accompanied by a delicate rubber note and patchouli. This is how the fragrance fades after many hours.

The fragrance is elegant, but simply too cold for me, too stubborn, it does not touch me. This irritates me a bit because I belong to the rugged scent faction. But something just doesn’t grab me. Longevity and sillage of Wisal Dhahab are very good; I could imagine the scent better on a man, but Mr. Pluto doesn’t like it from the first sniff on me. Hmm, maybe I could spray it on briefly while passing by, oh better not, that would just cause trouble. And I’ll keep silent about the bottle....

So either I have a completely different batch than most here or I received my perfume in a tilted state?
But I don't perceive anything fruity at the start.
The opening is very synthetic, sweet, and oriental for me.
I can't pick out individual notes.
The synthetic aspect also disappears quite quickly.
Even as it develops, there's no trace of any fruits. Maybe if I use my imagination, but that's not really the point.
In the air, I perceive sweet oud, an oud that will smell too oriental for many Western noses.
However, when I go to the spot where I sprayed it, I notice floral notes.
But they almost get overshadowed because this sweet, oriental, woody note, which also reminds me of oud in the drydown, is just too dominant.
Not much else happens; the scent remains very oriental, woody, or for my nose, oud-like, sweet, and floral in the background.

Performance? It's very strong, one of my strongest scents ever.
Three to four sprays of this are enough to create a strong sillage for at least 3 hours.
The longevity is also enormous.
Once, I sprayed it on my jacket, wore it again after 10 days, and it still smelled like Wisal Dhahab.
So if someone is looking for a strong performer, this is the right choice, as long as the fragrance hasn't been reformulated.

Who can wear the scent? Is it really unisex? Just barely, I think it smells way too masculine for a woman, but apparently, some ladies here enjoy wearing it.
However, those who don't really get along with oriental fragrances might want to pass on this one.
This is a true Arab scent, quite different from typical designer fragrances, which makes it pretty unique.
But those who enjoy scents from 1001 Nights will likely be happy with this one; it smells just like one would imagine a typical souq in Dubai or Qatar.

When can it be worn? Personally, I wouldn't wear it in summer; it's just too heavy, too sweet, and more suitable for the colder season.

My conclusion: Wisal Dhahab is indeed a unique scent but definitely not safe for a blind buy.
Some will love it, while others will not like it at all.
It's almost the case with every fragrance, but there are also mass pleasers where you can say at least 80% find such a scent pleasant.
With "Wisal Dhahab | Ajmal," it's at most 50%, in my opinion.
I personally find it neither good nor terribly bad.
There are just rarely occasions when I could wear it.
Therefore, my advice is to test it before ultimately regretting the purchase.

Pluto writes that the top notes of "Wisal Dhahab" are completely omitted, well, for me they are persistent, as top notes rarely are. And so I can almost only report on them:

At first, I am surprised that the scent does not hit me in the face with the very first spray. This usually happens to me with almost all fragrances, no matter how subtle they may be afterwards. No, not here, I have to immediately bring my nose to the sprayed skin. It is fruity, I think I can recognize the apple. Then it unfortunately becomes musty, could it be the interplay of peach and pear? Then for a while something follows that I cannot describe, but it almost makes me feel nauseous. It reminds me of "Amira Gold" by Al Haramain, as there is also such a phase for me. Finally, the grapefruit emerges, which accompanies me until the end of the scent, unfortunately, I do not particularly appreciate it... It does move on a scent base that is very weak and cannot be deciphered by me. Only now, about 15 hours after the last spray, can I detect a hint of wood base. I have to bring my nose directly to the sprayed skin, but there is still so much scent left that I hesitate to apply a new fragrance.
