To clarify!

Due to the recent reviews, I had to order and test the fragrance as well!

Al Haramain is a perfume house from the United Arab Emirates that has been around since 1970, and in that year they sold their first perfume. (Internet research, if I'm wrong, please correct me)
They really produce high-quality perfumes and also high-quality dupes.

Anyone who has been to Dubai and visited one or another mall (maybe even the Dubai Mall, which I can only recommend!) knows these vendors with their "WOODEN CARTS" found in front of the shops in the mall. They sell these kinds of perfumes for a lot of money to tourists; the lady wanted to sell me her bestseller for the equivalent of 120 euros, but I couldn't test it because she didn't have a tester?!
:D.

Therefore, we can consider ourselves lucky to be able to obtain these kinds of scents from the Emirates really affordably over the internet.

So much for that, let's get to the fragrance: L'Aventure

As mentioned above, I found the recent reviews of L'Aventure to be grotesque and wanted to form my own opinion about this fragrance. Please note that this is my personal opinion or assessment!

Before I rate the fragrance, I want to add that Creed Aventus is one of my absolute favorite scents and the Creed house is my favorite manufacturer!

I received L'Aventure today and tested it immediately.

At first, I perceive a very strong pineapple note and not a church incense as described here - what nonsense!. In the course of the fragrance, it becomes smoky and the pineapple remains present; I think I don't need to say more about the scent, except that it is 1 to 1 the current Aventus batch. In my opinion, no perfume comes close to the Aventus batches up to 2014!!! But the L'Aventure batch I tested is convincing and is in no way inferior to the current Aventus batch. Furthermore, the fragrance gives a very high-quality impression.

The sillage is very good and is well perceived by others
The longevity is also excellent, and the fragrance can be comfortably worn all day long.

I personally passed the fragrance on to family because it was very well received there, and I already own Aventus and other similar scents.

Clear recommendation for anyone who doesn't want to spend 300+ euros on an Aventus or perfume.
With about 32 euros, you can't go wrong with L'Aventure, and compliments come for free!

Cheers!

Well, I guess this one is more my style; the original smells quite strange on my skin, and this one is also cheaper :-). To be honest, the hype around Aventus feels a bit much for me. It's a great scent, no doubt, but it seems to lose its significance for me since almost everyone wears it.

@ Chevalier: You can write that dozens of times in other comments below, but it won't make it any more accurate. L’aventure and Icon are not similar at any point.

I don't have the original Creed Aventus, but I do have Insurrection II Pure and Eclat 700. I have a dozen dupes from Eclat, but of course, I don't know if they smell exactly like the original. I have a few Creed dupes from Eclat and the Irish Tweed. I also have the Armaf - Tres Nuit, which is supposed to smell quite like Irish Tweed, but it doesn't resemble the Eclat Irish Tweed at all. Now I have Aspen, and I love it. Just under €10 and it smells great.

Guys, what's up with everyone using Pineapple? Does it hurt to write Ananas? Or do you not remember that it's the German word for it? Oh my dear, I'm so wondering about that! ;-)

It's very close to Dunhill Icon.

Out of 50 people, 40 say "you smell good," 10 of them define it as Aventus, and one realizes it must be a clone: the wearer themselves.
What I mean is that the perception of Aventus is too complex to argue about what is copied 1:1 and what isn't. The fact is, you always struggle with the top note, as RobGordon pointed out. L'Aventure gives me a headache, but Aventus doesn’t. If I smelled both right outside my door, I’d have to guess...

I also tried the Eclat 700. The top note is really close to Aventus. However, it becomes rather weak over time. So it wasn't an alternative for me either.

@Robgordon I see it differently with the top note of this fragrance. I know L'aventure to be citrusy, and it really took a while for it to resemble today's original. But the L'aventure I reviewed here was completely different and, for me, is 1 to 1 the current Aventus from the very start.

Thanks for your tip! :)

The prominent dupes today, including this one, all fail at the top note. Only later do they start to resemble the original available today. In this case, it's the Elemi note that makes this dupe easily recognizable even in a blind test. If you want to smell a recreation of the old Aventus, then put your nose under the Eclat VIP 700. When I'm in the mood for Aventus (which is rare), I wear this one because I preferred A. before the reformulation compared to what's available today.

@AnjaTom have you ever tried an old Aventus batch?!
And of course, it's just my opinion, that's how I wrote it.
So I'm happy for you that you like the current batch so much, but I know a different Aventus and I want that one back! :D

That's your opinion. Others think differently about the current Aventus batches. I really like the fruity 17w01 and it has great longevity. It's all subjective.

Guys! I knew you'd interpret this differently with the 1 to 1!
I clearly stated that the old Aventus batches up to 2014 remain unmatched. But the current batch is nowhere near as good as everyone claims, and L Aventure is just as good! For me, it's 1 to 1, sorry :)

...just take L'Aventure + Pineapple from Demeter - and voilà... a wonderfully fruity Aventus!!! ;-D

I have this one and also Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf (for me, the best Aventus clone) and the original by Creed.
I definitely don’t think this one is a 1:1 batch of Creed. I always test both, the one on the right and the other.
The Club de Nuit Intense Man comes much closer to Creed. It’s almost 1:1, just a bit smokier, which I personally like because for winter, for example, I prefer that, then Creed for spring and summer. ;-)

I tested the scent at a friend's place.
It was really citrusy, I have to agree with you on that!
But the batch I have smells exactly like pineapple and for me, it's a 1:1 match with the current Aventus batch! Shoot me a DM, and I'll give you the batch number :)

Fragrances are perceived individually by everyone - so it's primarily very subjective. For example, I don't smell pineapple or church stone here at all - just a plain lemon, which for my nose doesn't have much in common with Aventus - which I really like. This may be completely different for other users due to individual perception. However, I believe that the resulting opinion or rating should be respected without judgment. :o)

Well, I’d be cautious with the 1-to-1 comparison. I haven't come across a true Aventus dupe yet. It's usually just a good approximation. But thanks for the comment. I've been thinking about getting this scent as an alternative to Aventus, but the latest reviews have really put me off.
