And the frog makes ... Quaaak ;-)
So far my preference for fresh fragrances led me mostly to the citric sporting representatives of the guild. But there's another way, as this tsavorite proves.
As soon as you spray it on, it makes it quaaak, or rather squeak. So at least my first associations, namely the image of a light green tree frog or the squeaking of flower stems that arises when a bouquet is tied. Although there is always a slightly musty note with them, ... vegetal halt. But as with the flowers, whose stems soon disappear into the water to give off only the fine scent of the flowers, this Cheapy:
is also a very nice one
The tsavorite smells exactly like it looks after a few minutes, namely bright, green and fresh. A fine melange of lovely flowers and fruits, a little sweetish at the same time, and basically still contrasted with a slightly acidic vegetable note, which, however, retreats more and more over the hours. For me none of the many ingredients stands out particularly, especially not bergamot, lemon, apple, rose, and above all iris and amber are not audible. But the Patchouli might be a little bit out to smell.
And where's the frog?
Granted, I've never sniffed at one before and don't want to :) But on one point there's a match, that's endurance. However, the long breath of a nocturnal frog concert is rather annoying, whereas the tsavorite scores with it. It is quite linear in its course, while its fruity light green becomes even more lovely towards the back.
Conclusion: For those who like fresh food ;) and are looking for a change from the many citrus scents, this Al Harmain is a clear recommendation. It has a great price-performance ratio and lasts 7-8 hours with a clearly perceptible Sillage (3-4 sprayers on chest / neck are ideal). And it's also great for layering.
