You simply cannot expect too much from a very inexpensive EDP
Considering that the 35ml bottle cost me slightly over US$5, this is a pretty decent fragrance.
It cannot and should not be judged alongside the heavyweights or the big names: it isn't a contender.
For what it is, frankly, it delivers very well, with a bright, bubbly floral impact, but it dies away rather quickly, leaving a slight powdery, earthy dry-down.
In the "Junior League" so to speak, Africana places comfortably and is an amusing change from the complex, sophisticated perfumes for special occasions. At fifteen cents a mil, it's quite a buy, providing you can compromise in your demands.
