~ Inspiration ~
After "Wicked Berry," this is my second sample from Alice & Peter Parfums.
~ Bottle ~
A small, pink cupcake! Very sweet and kitschy. "Cheery Cherry" is a nice play on words and means "cheerful cherry."
~ Scent ~
It starts with an intense cherry scent. Blackcurrants, bergamot, and a hint of orange provide a sparkling mix in the background. After a few minutes, the fragrance becomes a bit more floral - (peony) roses and freesias become prominent. The slightly creamy base note consists of white musk and a touch of caramel with vanilla, which, however, quickly dissipates and leaves a menthol note behind...
~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts only about 3-4 hours (on clothing and hair maybe a bit longer).
~ Occasion ~
Fresh, lightly fruity, and subtle - suitable for everyday wear in spring and summer. I find it unisex only after a while, when the sweet cherry note has faded a bit.
~ Conclusion ~
The top note is delicious, but I don't like the menthol-cherry combination.
