Conservative Office Scent
The perfume starts with a strong sillage that has a distinct vanilla note for me. The scent is soft but, for me, not definable; I find it to be a typical very conservative office scent. After a few hours of scent development, it smells more subtle, but a clear "pencil scent" comes to the forefront. Somehow, I also feel like something is missing, but I can't quite put my finger on what I'm missing. I can't understand the rating of 8.6, but you can definitely tell that it is a high-quality fragrance that will surely find its admirers.

Mischa, I would totally agree with that! It starts off fresh, floral, and metallic, and then ends with a "pencil note"! Because of that, the 8.6 seems a bit too high! Trophy for the pencil ;)

I can't quite grasp the pencil thing. What do you mean by that? I find it pleasant, warm and inviting in the base, but without being overpowering... I don't really see a colorful, young man as the target audience; it feels more suited for a mature man or a young lover, but both are rather reserved, not the bold type...

Yes, this is a fragrance that can be worn very well in the office. It's a fresh and clean scent that is noticeable but never overwhelming. As you said: an excellent office fragrance.

I think it's lovely. At my brother's prom, it carried me through the evening really well and scored points for its longevity and strong sillage. But it's exactly the sillage that makes me hesitant to wear it at the office ;)

For me, it's neither conservative, pencil-like, nor a office scent. While it's very elegant and stylish, it's definitely more suited for the evening or a date. I think the 8.6 rating is absolutely fair, but tastes vary.
