Sunshine Woman Amouage 2014

I really love this one. It's a wonderful fragrance which shows a very different and transparent side from Amouage. Usually the house is famous for it's heavy laden, seductive and decadent oriental spices, with emphasis on frankincense and resinous woods. This one is different. Sunshine Woman is a beautifully soft, elegant floral which has osmanthus flower, jasmine, magnolia and tobacco blossom. But not only that, it also has almond, blackberry and vanilla. The white flowers and vanilla work beautifully together, along with the almond. I love it!

I think it is basically unisex, and inoffensive... but it would smell absolutely fantastic on a woman. In fact, I can see this one being a wonderful wedding day perfume, as it is so happy and transparent. Amouage have once again created something very beautiful and delicate here, a great perfume in my opinion, and very well balanced. It's one to try for women in the spring and summer. Really lovely!

Please do not expect a typical Amouage scent. Sunshine does not show at all that stuff that’s usually in Amouage signature: frankincense, cypriol, leather, agarwood and oakmoss but it enters into a new territory. It ‘s a“to be continued “ version of Journey, a nice sweet floral fruity fragrance containing a bouquet of white flowers, osmanthus, including some almonds with black currants and vanilla.

On skin shortly after the first half an hour Sunshine becomes linear and that ‘s all you can get, nothing spectacular just a nice behaving perfume. Good longevity, moderate silage but I was expecting more from Amouage…..

Sunshine is a strong mid-day sun, somewhere in the desert, beating down on the hot, hot sand that burns the soles of your bare feet while you chew not one or two, but possibly three or four pink bubble gums. It smells just like this bubblegum from Turkey that I used to break my jaws on as a kid, Turbo. Sunshine is kind of looked down on by most Amouage fans, many saying that it's too simple for a niche fragrance, but I think it's a top notch take on one of my favorite flowers, osmanthus. Sunshine is a bit heavy and suffocatingly sweet for a hot summer's day, so I like to wear it in fall and spring.

E destul de innabusitor si persistent, si proiecteaza destul de departe, asa ca mie, cel putin, mi-se pare nepotrivit pentru zile calduroase. Ce imi place cel mai mult la el este dulceata de osthmantus, care este una dintre florile mele preferate

This fragrance is the ultimate “good mood” scent. It’s bright and radiant — sunshine in a bottle, really. If happiness had a smell, this would be it. It’s the kind of fragrance you wear when you want to bring a little extra glow to your day or channel warm, carefree vibes even in the depths of winter. Just be warned — you might find yourself craving apricots and almonds every time you spritz it on!

The name that Amouage has given this perfume is simply perfect because wearing this feels like wearing honey-drenched apricot sunshine. Not overly sweet and layered with creamy, vanilla almonds with just a slight tartness from the currants and osmanthus to add depth. Such a uniquely delectable gourmand fragrance that lifts you on those dreary winter/early spring days when you need a little warmth. It is exceptionally long-lasting; I can smell it on my clothes for days and lasts just a well on skin. It has a wonderful and soft sillage, not too overpowering, however, I do find that heat and more than 1 or 2 spays can make it feel a bit cloying so I stick to wearing it on colder days. Otherwise, it's a wonderful fragrance, truly sunshine in a bottle.
