Clean and fresh coconut caramel

I have emptied an entire Perle de Coco shower gel before I really tried the EDT, and I still have the body souffle and hand cream. They're all very similar, but the creams are a little warmer than the perfume.

This is mainly a mix of coconut and smooth caramel. It's not the most summery coconut scent due to the gourmand base. I'd say it's easy to wear year round. The red apple and creamy floral notes are quite noticeable, too, so there is a certain freshness to the scent. I find the coconut in this to be a little too sharp and artificial at times, so I don't need this as a perfume, but otherwise it's pretty nice. A cheerful lighter gourmand that doesn't take itself too seriously.

I see that many have voted for this to be similar to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 (the Bum Bum cream scent), a thought that never crossed my mind. I guess I can see that there has been some inspiration, but the result is different. Perle de Coco is fresher, in comparison it's even kind of soapy, and doesn't have the same sunshiney warmth that Cheirosa 62 has. In my opinion it stands on its own feet.

A Dream for Every Day

Perle de Coco is unjustly unknown here. There’s no reason to hide from other creamy-warm summer fragrances and gather dust in the shadows!

I already melt at the sight of the fragrance pyramid: caramel, coconut, vanilla, ylang, a bit of fruit and a bit of green, lots of milk. Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful summer vacation?

When I finally apply this composition, there’s only soft wax left of me... from start to finish, this scent is harmonious and kisses me warm and sweet, yes lovely, just like the sun rays from the sky when you sit on a bench in the park and briefly close your eyes. The warmth flows from the outside directly to the inside, to the heart. One must smile.

Perle de Coco is truly a pearl for me, and it sweetens every day with its creamy coconut-vanilla, whether warm or cold. It is a subtle yet special and elegant neck adornment that one can only find beautiful. :)
