Synthetic, pungent, overwhelming, a clear failure
The first fragrance from Lattafa (this time from their sub-brand Ard Al Zaafaran) that really turned me off.
I would also rate it clearly as a women's fragrance. There is nothing of masculinity, of any kind, to be found here.
It starts with a cloud of crushing sweetness that literally screams for a mixture of musk, hairspray and cheap sweets. Too artificial, too sugary, too crass.
After about half an hour, it then veers in the direction of toilet cleaner. The hairspray remains artificially in the mix. However, the blatant disparity between sillage and durability is already noticeable here. While the former almost completely knocks you off your feet, the spook is fortunately over after 3-4 hours, like a full stop.
Despite the extremely low price and the beautiful packaging, this fragrance fails for me!
