Richness
The opening is mind-blowing: juicy peach and cocoa create a perfect marriage.
Dense, full-bodied, sugary.
Continuing is a triumph of warm spices and creamy sandalwood.
The heart in fact is a traditional Indian attar, Amber Shamama, composed of more than 50 varieties of spices and herbs, distilled in pure sandalwood.
I do not perceive the Indian oud to be skanky at all; on the contrary, overall it is well tamed and does not "disturb" at all.
Occasionally some small flushes of dirty oud can be felt, but not too much.
I was very surprised by Ambre de Coco as I find it very wearable, welcoming and with a rich aroma and a precious, regal feeling.
