Absolute 0815 Freshy with below-average H/S
In my opinion, this is one of the most generic citrusy-aquatic-creamy 0815 fragrances.
The top note starts off more feminine/unisex than masculine with a slightly artificial, minimally citrusy-cloying creaminess. The whole thing comes across like any old discount store hand cream that has been lying next to the toilet bowl for too long.
Fortunately, the fragrance becomes more pleasant after a short time and is now light and fresh for the first time. The citrus is still minimally present, but the toilet stone has been shaken off and left behind within the last half hour. Nevertheless, nothing special or really good develops here.
In the base, the fragrance now becomes relatively consistent towards the end, but again minimally synthetic, with poor H/S. More than 4-5 hours are not possible here.
For me, the fragrance is pure 0815 and has nothing to do with "magnificient". It is also much more unisex for me than "pour homme". So what's left then? The low price of around €30 can't save anything. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Aquaten, especially in summer I hardly wear anything else.
But if you want that refreshing "fresh showered feeling", you are much better off with many other fragrances.
Be it with a green-aquatic note: Cool Water Eau de Toilette , citrusy-aquatic notes: Versace pour Homme Eau de Toilette , Missoni Wave , or fruity-aquatic notes: Boss Bottled Marine or Shawq .
