Wrong Name?
When you read niche oud, you think here comes a fine little bottle with a lot of oud, but that's not the case.
Actually, the perfume should be called "Niche Amber".
Because that's the main player here, full blast amber from start to finish.
Along with a good amount of pepper, which makes the scent almost salty, and a bit of iris in the background.
However, it's not a lipsticky iris like in Dior Homme Parfum, intense, etc.
I wouldn't describe the scent as sweet, rather spicy, maybe a few % sweet yes, but actually just spicy.
The vanilla adds a little bit of sweetness to it all.
But you really don't smell much vanilla, it also stays in the background.
The scent strikes me as rather classic, could be something from the 80s/90s.
So not really modern, rather a timeless classic for men aged 30/35 and up.
