first spring wish
The lightness of this fragrance corresponds to spring: there is nothing heavy, exciting or powdery - it contains only lively expectation, first sunbeams and freshness!
Magnolias: mostly their bare branches resemble silhouettes, which stand out black from the light blue sky: crowned by the waxy beauty of the ivory-coloured flowers, which run out in a delicate rosé - it will finally be spring!
In their own way they seem almost as artificial as orchids and yet they convey pure anticipation.
Atelier Cologne opens its fragrance "Sud Magnolia" with a fruity tang: bitter orange and grapefruit bizzeln on the tongue or in the nose; the bitter and yet magical black currant has a fruity depth, the secret of which I have not yet been able to decipher: I like it very much!
For this reason fragrances with this tart freshness attract me again and again: I can't explain this affinity!
