A Sharp, Unsweet, Straight Up Floral
New for 2020 is Bath & Body Works Perfect Peony. Notes include: Peony, Natural Apple Oil, Vanilla Sandalwood.

B&BW released Peony in 2016 and Tutti Dulce Pink Peony Creme in 2017. I am familiar with the latter only. Pink Peony Creme is a discontinued, nice gourmand that I still enjoy wearing. Perfect Peony, however, is a rather sharp, unsweet floral to my nose.

I LOVE many of B&BW fragrances, and there are some I could not imagine ever being without, e.g. Sensual Amber, Black Amethyst, Dark Kiss, and Cashmere Glow, but Perfect Peony is not even a like for me. I do not detect either apple or vanilla sandalwood. This is just a straight up sharp floral that is almost vinegary to my nose. There is not much more I can say about it. I thought it might have a nice rose tinge to it, but alas, it does not. It reminds me of the alcohol rub that sister uses to swab your arm before giving you a jab.

Performance is very average on this one. Compared to many other B&BW body sprays, presentation is also very average.

This one is a big disappointment for me. Your milage may vary.

Watery, fruity-floral peony (like watery melon) + hint of green apple & sandalwood. Fresh, classy, but veering towards "hairspray".
