Sparkling - Fresh - Great
When I read the fragrance notes of the new Birkholz Colours of Capri, I was immediately captivated. Of course, the selection of summer fragrances is large, but I can truly recommend this one to you. I kept wondering what tomato leaf smells like and what it does to a fragrance. So, I got myself a tomato plant and rubbed a leaf. This adds a certain spiciness to this limoncello scent and makes it simply stand out, a great burst of freshness with that special something. Absolutely unisex.
The bottle has completely enchanted me. This beautiful lime green radiates so much freshness and is absolutely high-quality crafted, as one expects from Birkholz. It perfectly completes this fragrance.
In my opinion, it's definitely worth a test!

Green, green, green....Sugar Limoncello
Colours of Capri by Birkholz is certainly not the only citrus holy grail, but for me, it definitely ranks at the top.

From the very first spray, it had me. The opening is wonderfully zesty and smells of ice-cold limoncello and freshly grated lemon zest. In the background, I detect a subtle green note, perhaps tomato leaf, which gives the fragrance an incredibly natural freshness.

Over time, it becomes a bit softer and slightly sweeter. However, that doesn't bother me at all, as it never slips into a Lira-like gourmand direction. Instead, it remains fresh, natural, and elegant, without even remotely reminding me of a citrus cleaner. It’s this balance that makes it so strong for me.

Colours of Capri captivated me from the first spray. Additionally, it comes in a beautiful bottle that perfectly rounds off the high-quality impression.

Finally, a small tip: If you want to give the fragrance a bit more depth, you should layer it with Poetry of Palermo by Birkholz. This is absolutely not a must, as Colours of Capri works excellently on its own. Together, however, they create an incredibly harmonious combination that adds even more character to the fragrance.

Are you into green summer fragrances? Here you go.
Colours of Capri is a great green summer scent that has a special "tingle" at the beginning.
I get beautiful impressions of a juicy lemon, but also a lime in my nose. On the warm days of the year, this is just great and definitely brings me joy when wearing it.

The fragrance starts off, as already mentioned, primarily citrusy.
I get zesty, citrus impressions leaning towards lemon and lime.
It also has something of a refreshing, delicious cocktail. Additionally, you can relatively quickly sense this green flair in the fragrance.
The green touch runs like a common thread throughout the entire development.

Over time, I then get very slight floral accents along with an active vetiver from the base.
It has something grassy, woody, fresh.
In general, it becomes a bit more robust.
The citrus notes fade more and more, while the previously described green impression definitely remains.

With the multitude of fragrances I have tested in my life, I have again noticed certain parallels here. In fact, I am firmly convinced that I have smelled one or the other fragrance that definitely follows similar paths. But that is completely normal given the brutal amount of fragrances already on the market.
Anyone who enjoys summery, citrusy, and green scents will surely find a lot to like here.

The longevity on my skin is around six to seven hours. Towards the end, it becomes less "invigorating" and flattens out a bit with the vetiver and musk. It becomes noticeably closer to the skin for me after about two to three hours. However, this is generally completely normal for summer fragrances. You can't expect longevity and projection miracles from a citrus summer scent.

The fragrance is unisex and especially suitable for people who enjoy these green, citrusy scents.
Feel free to test the fragrance!
I bought it blind during the "Pre-Sale" and have not regretted it. Especially since I am a big lover and collector of the brand anyway.

Wonderful citrus opening, then the scent of a tomato leaf comes through, as if it's being crushed between fingers. Never smelled anything like it.

A scent in the Green-Fresh category. Excellently crafted. Accord already familiar from this direction. Limoncello nope.

Zesty-fresh with limoncello, the fig adds a slightly fruity note, and the green makes the scent really special. I think it's great!

On paper, wonderfully citrusy and zesty with a great transition to sweet and fruity. On my skin, unfortunately just citrusy without any edges.
