Sweet Chocolate And Patchouli
Can there be a sweeter interpretation of Angel? Yes, there can be. It's called Falling Star, and it's muted with a soft musky vanilla with a good base of patchouli. This is a gourmand lovers delight that lasts for hours and hours and only gets better as time goes on.
I've mentioned in another review that I picked up another Black Onyx perfume also. Both were in a thrift shop and I had absolutely no idea about them, other than them being imitations of other perfumes. I don't believe they're marketed in America, but they somehow found their way here, and I've been quite happy with both of them. Not knowing what they would cost normally, I can't use that in my review, but I only paid a few dollars for them. They were well worth it. If I found others, I would try them also.
Falling Star begins as a wallflower, it seems, almost as if it's watching others from the corner of a room. Suddenly, it breaks out of its shell, and becomes the star of the party. It's warm, full of spirit and a full-bodied, cheerful perfume. It sings its notes out loudly to anyone who will listen.
There's a good dose of sweet chocolate mixing in and it's carnival sweet-tooth time.
This is a perfume best worn in moderation, in any type of weather. It's a love it or hate it fragrance. If you like your sweets, you'll love this. Frankly, it surprised me as a similar perfume. It's resembles Angel that much.
A little goes a very long way with Falling Star. The bottle is not expensive at all with a blue star cap, gold foil-like wrap around the top, and blue glass.
