Bogner was founded in 1932 by the former successful ski racer Willy Bogner. The range initially included sports equipment, sportswear and accessories. Four years later, the Olympic winter team was fully equipped by the label. From 1937, Bogner's wife also designed her sports fashion. The label lost several locations due to World War II, which led to a new beginning in 1947, and the first post-war models in 1948 in Munich.
Willy Bogner Junior, who was previously also active in winter sports, forced the sale of winter fashion from 1962. In addition, the founder’s son also brought active and high-quality winter sports to the big screen. Spectacular films such as "Fire and Ice" or four James Bond films would not have been possible without "Bogner".
From 1974, "Bogner" expanded its range to include golf, tennis and cross-country skiing. In 1981, an even bigger expansion took place with the licensing of eyewear, and the introduction of the first fragrances in 1984.
