Exotic Vanilla from Distant Lands

Zanzibar is a state that belongs to Tanzania, a country in Africa that is famous for its animal, but above all, human fossils. So it's practically the place that has brought you all forth, and I now have you all here at my neck... well, okay, my great-great-great-great-great-grandparents and I myself probably all come from there :DD

I think many states there are definitely worth a visit, as there are surely beautiful, exotic areas with interesting cultures and people. Such a cultural trip could certainly open the eyes of some philistines, especially those who still think Africa is "a country" :D

Now comes a scent that is probably one of the favorite notes of the ladies here: vanilla. By the way, it fits quite well with the autumn now!

**The scent:**
The fragrance starts with a delicate and powdery vanilla that smells both authentic and very pleasant. A slight fruitiness is noticeable, but if I hadn't looked at the fragrance pyramid, I would have guessed lemon here, as a light citrus note wafts in the background. Instead, it is the mandarin... hmm... could be, you can't really smell that note very well. And despite the fruity feeling, I also have difficulty distinctly recognizing the pear. However, the jasmine is immediately noticeable like the vanilla, and you can recognize it by its typically sweet scent.
Hmm... I know that fragrance impressions are often different, but I catch whiffs of tobacco, albeit very lightly. It's not listed below and might just be my perception, but somehow it smells that way to me. The vanilla gradually becomes stronger and more powdery. It mainly smells sweet, especially with the mentioned jasmine, but not overwhelmingly sweet. With powdery and soft or balsamic notes, the fragrance is already a dream for vanilla lovers.
Then, for a long time, you actually only smell the vanilla, so that the nuances of the fragrance become "apparent" only when sniffing closely (e.g., the previously mentioned tobacco note or a honey-like sweetness in addition to the sweetness of the jasmine). Actually, the scent remains like this until the end and always smells good.

**The sillage and longevity:**
The sillage is above average at the beginning and thus quite noticeable. Even later, you can still perceive the scent on someone or in the vicinity, although not as strongly as at the beginning. All in all, the projection is quite okay.
Vanilla scents seem to last forever anyway, and this one is no different. It may be that the sillage is a bit less strong than with some other vanilla scents, but this fragrance lasts easily around ten hours.

**The bottle:**
The bottle with the thick glass bottom is cylindrical and clear, giving a rather high-quality impression. On the label, which has a gilded frame, you can see the name of the fragrance in gilded letters. The neck is round and tiered and gilded. The brand name is engraved on the top ring of the neck. The cap is white and also has gilded accents. A beautiful bottle.

Sooo…
As I already mentioned during the scent description, this fragrance is a feast for vanilla freaks. Because aside from the fresh and slightly lemony-fresh start, you mainly smell a beautiful, gentle, and slightly powdery vanilla for the majority of the fragrance's development. The scent is not strong enough to overwhelm everyone in the vicinity, but strong enough to be pleasantly noticeable for a while.

It envelops both the wearer and the immediate surroundings in a fine vanilla cloud, making you feel quite comfortable in it, as long as you like vanilla. Men might appear more attractive with the scent (which does have a slightly more feminine vibe) (or?? Tell me!! :D), and the ladies would be, as always, mouth-wateringly delicious :D

Zanzibar is a fragrance that vanilla fans should not miss and should definitely try at least once.

This dry, earthy note is, for me, alongside the vanilla, defining for the scent character. I think it's patchouli (also because I read that in the pyramid). But it could also be tobacco. Or both.

Well described! Trophy! Where can you actually get Dosen Duft? An internet search always shows me that it's sold out. Is it even still being produced?
