her again
now, don't get me wrong. i don't mind flankers of a fragrance if they're done well (A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum Fraîche my beloved) but i think at a certain point things get a little ridiculous. we have had at least one her every year since 2018 (excluding 2021, but they released two in 2022). sure, a lot of flankers. i don't mind them if they're somewhat different even with the same DNA (see britney spears fantasy).
however i can't really detect any major differences between most scents in the burberry her line. the bottles being basically identical for different flankers (e.g. Her Elixir de Parfum and Her Eau de Parfum Intense , and this one too) is also super confusing and a bit lazy.
the scent overall is pretty similar to the original. unless you REALLY REALLY like cherries or the her line then this isn't something i'd recommend if you already have the OG. i find the opening incredibly synthetically sweet, borderline tooth ache, and it continues that way until it goes a bit musty then turns to a skin scent of musk and the like.
i generally do not like the her line, however, it's just not my tastes, and the her line doesn't like me either (skin chemistry). so maybe you prefer a super sweet type profile, in which case i recommend trying it in store. maybe you'll like it but it's not for me.
