Hyper cedar

We don't have to say anything more about flacon design, which, like everything else from Byredo, can't be topped. There's nothing nicer.

Now for the fragrance, there is no comparable, light cedar fragrance like Super Cedar. It's light and I can only call it super noble. That's just understatement. For the people who simply have style, know how to dress, have strong character and are not like so many, Blender and Poser. For the Margiela and Jil Sander wearers, no visible label necessary to lose with their own style without words about that they can easily do it. Too bad that there are so few people who, if they were a fragrance, are a caliber of a Super Cedar.

Initially I used it for layering because of the misleading comments here. Only the next day I noticed that it was Super Cedar, which smelled so super noble of my bedding.

The strongest Byredo next to Accord Oud and anyway next to Helmut Lang's EDC, Cuiron, CDG Kyoto and Terre d'Hermès one of the absolutely perfect scents. Thank you so much for so much perfection

I got a sample of this perfume as a gift..Tested with excitement..
Please do not take it personally because everyone has his preferences what fragrances or certain brands...But...
Shortly after spraying the question came top note rose? Yes roses smell very good, but here the first impression is actually synthetic as it is often called and also in the development is not much to notice for me, speak cedar (Cedar) yes but not Super...
Musk, vetiver, well..and the worst is that for me the rose or the overall impression comes across as if I had bought a cheap fragrance oil with rose..and when I then see the price at Douglas for this product...geez...since you have to be a fan or stand by the brand...however....

Super Cedar I received from recently as a sample. I knew nothing about this fragrance before, because I must admit that the brand Byredo has never really picked me up. Of course, something like that can always change quickly.

My expectation of Super Cedar was that I would get to smell a very woody scent here. On something extremely complex I have also not at all hoped, because this would not correspond to the character of Byredo of simple, never intrusive, Bauhausstil moderately. Unfortunately, I only find Super Cedar a little woody at first. I can't really detect the rose. For me, after 30 minutes, Super Cedar is just musk, of the annoying kind, and something else scratchy to boot. Here I can unfortunately only say: missed the point. Super Cedar is for me almost not at all woody but after 30 minutes only musk with synthetics. Super Cedar simply has no character. The scent just doesn't stay in the head (nose). I somehow can't understand what this fragrance is supposed to be. He is not good and also still completely removed from the fragrance pyramid.

For me so far the worst Byredo I have tested.

The durability is with me but very good. Somehow burns this synthetic with musk in my skin and is even after 15 hours and a shower still to smell. The Silage is but rather weak and already after a little over an hour mere skin.

Super What?

Is it a perfume? Is it a plane? No, it's Byredo's Super Cedar… sorry, I couldn't resist.
Now, what do you want me to tell you about this "perfume"? I will start with the positives:
Pleasant smell? Check
Funny minimal packaging? Check
Interesting name? More or less Check.
And that's it, because the Super Cedar "kryptonites" are many and strong. Let's start with originality. It smells too much like MS Molecule 01, which only means one of two things, either I have my nose totally wrecked or it's full of Iso E super.
Now, let's talk about performance. Time is the enemy of all linear fragrances, but this one in me is completely "destroyed" in a blink of an eye. 30 minutes after application and the initial, strong, tall cedar trunk turns into a musky toothpick, with notes of vetiver… skin scent is his middle name.
Finally, the price. 110 euros for 50 ml of Iso E super? If EM 01 price is already an outrage, this one is even more “pornographic”. This "super thingy" is nothing more than a little thing pretending that it another thing completely.

Light wood with a little extra

Byredo Super Cedar is in my opinion a very light noted woody fragrance. The impression is very positive when tested on paper however as wearer unfortunately I didn’t experience much of it. The fragrance itself can be deemed as light woody with cedar, some also light earth notes but overall on a very nice and fresh side versus other heavier derivates from this fragrance family. Can be deemed as a good fit specifically in reference to the appropriate price point.
