The sandy carrot surprise
I have to express my feelings about this new release!
I organized a sharing with this fragrance. As the fragrance was not yet on the market at the time, it was very brave. You could also say naive... But I'll take some courage! :D
The notes all appealed to me very much! Well, sharing full, bottle here
During my lunch break, I took some time to spray the new roommate on my arm with two sprays.
It starts with a really very dill-like sandalwood note. I was startled for a moment because it smelled really strongly of dill. A bad purchase? A blind one at that. Please don't!
The fragrance changes quickly: a very grown-up sweetness quickly joins in. Somehow it reminds me of a chewing gum sweetness - NO FEAR: ZERO SYNTHETICS! I can hardly describe it. I actually suspect it's the carrot seeds. The fragrance climbs from a 6 to an 8.5! Wonderful. And the best thing is: not only do I like it, but I've never actually smelled it like this before. It draws me back to the arm again and again to smell it.
Brave second: I spray myself for the second half of the day at work. Same scent progression. After about 15 minutes, it becomes woodier, more mature. This new kind of sweetness is joined by creamy components. But it remains permanently woody. Light woody. Sandalwood. And to use an Anglicism: very edgy and sophisticated.
It simply smells different!

Now the surprise: I actually get compliments from three colleagues at work and one of them even wants a bottle! I hadn't expected that, as the fragrance is really unusual.
It certainly makes me feel really special, unique and simply very comfortable.
By the way: it was almost 25 degrees outside today and that was actually doable.
I see it on everyone all year round!
