Where did you come from?
Rarely I smelled such an almost classic vintage scent - beamed into the 70/80s, that's how the scents smelled back then. Strong, present and with patchouli. I can smell that directly out, he also has light fruit aromas that go a little bit in the synthetic direction for me - not unpleasant, fits to the fragrance. I also find it created and not composed of already existing ingredients. The perfumes from "the past" are something like artificial or artistic creatures for me, if you understand what I mean. They also last incredibly long and even a little longer. Davana is a very special fragrance, I have often stumbled over it. It smells dry, woody and strawy, slightly sweet, a little bit of herb garden, somehow dusty - please excuse the expression. It gives perfumes something very peculiar - which goes very well with vintage perfumes. This special fragrance series of Carven includes 7 or 8 fine perfumes, are special, very durable, you have to take your time for, but excellent beautiful!
