You only realize what's good later
In the past days and weeks, I have increasingly focused on the current new releases. Calvin Klein's "Obsessed," Diesel's "Bad Intense," Davidoff's "Cool Water Wave," and my current absolute negative highlight (yes, I know, that means low point. Negative highlight sounds better ;-)): Armani's "Stronger with you." My favorite for the flop 10 from FabianO.
I must confess that I can no longer distinguish these new releases. And have you noticed that almost all new releases currently feature cardamom, which also smells very artificial? As if someone brewed a huge barrel of synthetic cardamom and is now selling it to all the formerly great perfume manufacturers or those who want to be (supposedly again). Here, it must be noted that Joop's "Wow" really stands out positively.
What I want to say with this little blog excursion? That you only really notice what's good when something else seems bad. This one is often insulted as rinse water or similar. But honestly, compared to today's standard, many would probably be happy about such a release.
So, what do I smell? Definitely something very fresh-citrusy-fruity at first. No lemon, but quite clearly the mandarin. Quickly accompanied by orange blossom. The whole thing feels rather fruity and slightly creamy. After about two hours, the tonka bean becomes more and more apparent. For me, it then develops this familiar Allure Homme DNA that characterizes all the fragrances in this line. This fresh-fruity-sweet-creamy scent. Depending on the flanker, this is more or less pronounced.
The longevity is really very good for me. Eight hours or more are possible.
The sillage is excellently pronounced. Not too strong and not too weak. Really well done.
I like the Allure line. My favorites are definitely the current Cologne and the plain Allure Homme.
Chanel stands for quality. And I think that can also be said about this line here. There are many flankers in this line, but not more than all the others. Just look at "Habit Rouge." There are not a few either.
There is definitely something for everyone here.

Vielleicht bewegt man damit etwas?
