Arabica Dreams & Chocolate
For Dawn, as she writes on her homepage, this fragrance stands for everything that fascinates her about the Orient. From hospitality and tradition to hypermodernity and the dawn of a new era. This fragrance mixes so many aspects that it is actually very difficult to look through the immediately present fragrance carpet.
A few chords, which I liked very much, I "found again" after all. Including deep aromatic, dark chocolate. And Arabica coffee - like being served in a finjaan. For me a heavenly combination with deep sensuality and at the same time: unbelievably harmonious and delicious!
Under some resinous smokiness there are actually some flowers. Although I could identify the carnation best. The rest of you just make yourself comfortable in an oriental spice bed with some tobacco. With the exception of tobacco, there are also notes that are often traditionally added to Arabic coffee, giving it its special taste and aroma.
Already now it becomes clear what is really fascinating about this fragrance. He plays skillfully with all these levels and impressions. Lets the synapses travel and retrieves images from vacations and movies. Paint memories in a new light.
Dawn now lets the modern or the certain twist with fig (green) and civet (sensual) sound additionally in this composition. Like an antithesis to the already known, something fresh, green and juicy or even a slightly erotic wink swims under the chocolate.
Here everything fits again. There are so cleverly interwoven chords loved and loved that an ungourmandiger Orientale came out, which is so attractive that it enchants on three levels parallel.
And I float back and forth between them.
