As usual, DS and Durga tries to tell a story with their perfumes; This one harkens back to the golden age of sea travel, and you're meant to imagine an ocean liner off the coast of New England. I haven't experienced that myself, but this scent definitely makes me imagine it; Something of a Noir mystery-at-sea.

Your scenario completely sold me while I was deep in the rabbit hole of summer rose recommendations. I ordered a decant on the spot, which inevitably led to a full bottle. Now it’s one of my treasured summer scents. Every time I wear it, I’m not just on the cruise ship… I am the mysterious woman, cocktail in hand, with the moonlit ocean as my accomplice. 💀
