Interesting Facts
Originally Miss Dior Chérie was an Eau de Parfum by Christine Nagel. In 2007 an Eau de Toilette was issued. Both were reworked by François Demachy (EdP in 2011, EdT in 2010) and ultimately renamed into Miss Dior (EdP in 2012, EdT in 2013). The original Miss Dior (1947) is distinguished by the addition of 'Original(e)'.

Bring back 90s/00s gourmands
I recently discovered this one when my beloved mother threw her old bottle of this at me. When I was a young girl, my mama loved sweet fragrances. She wore it all: Lolita Lempicka, Mugler Angel, etc., and this is one she really enjoyed. But as she’s gotten older, she rejects them with a burning passion. I had heard so much about this one around, so you can imagine my thrill when she was begging me to take it away.

Miss Dior Cherie is that classic 00s style gourmand, where there’s a lot of sweetness, but it’s not to the point where it’s nauseating, cloying, or heavily synthetic like the gourmands of today are. It features a fun popcorn note, in the midsts of a fruit salad drizzled with caramel, and an arrangement of flowers and patchouli. It’s extremely complex while holding onto an air of youth from the time period it was birthed in. It’s grown up without being too mature, and it’s dazzling without being too flamboyant. It’s every floral-gourmand lovers dream come true and it’s a damn shame Dior discontinued it.

Cherie is the epitome of a lover girl who finds romance in every single thing she encounters. She leaves the prettiest trail behind you, creates a bubble that draws compliments and makes people want to get closer to you, and won’t leave your side all day long. I love her dearly and I love that my mother led me to her.

Another discontinued beauty
I really liked this one. It wasn't very popular at the time. People thought it was basic and girly.

It opens with a fizzy strawberry smell. Very cheerful and lively. It settles into a balanced floral slightly fruity blend. The touch of patchouli in the background is low enough not to bother me. (Woods smell terrible on me for some reason).

The dry down into a balanced floral and musk makes it feel more adult. It smells elegant and not like it came from Bath and Body Works. It is lovely.

I have a bit left. I will miss it when it's gone. It was a fun summer scent when you wanted to be a bit dressy but chill.

Antidepressant!
Miss Dior Cherie is great!
Fragrance full of life, so joyful and bright, it would work like a good antidepressant!
Can't imagine someone wearing MDC and being sad or in a bad mood!
It's very sweet and creamy, like a candy :)
I don't actually feel cheries in it, but strawberries.
My hb always says I smell like a drunk when I wear it, but I don't mind. At least I'm one happy "drunk" ;)

Sweet, flirty, cozy, and iconic
The recent trend toward berry scents cannot hold a candle to this sweet and exquisite perfume. Alas, this iteration was discontinued in the late 2000’s when I was on my 2nd bottle.

Though marketed as a very youthful fragrance, I wore it in my 40’s without a care. Super addictive and fresh in its own way with the most delectable strawberry & slightly powdery vibe. I have a few sprays left that I’m hesitant to use. I miss it and wish Dior would bring it back!

Slender and chic
When I wear this flowery perfume, I have visions of a fashionable lady in a Dior outfit just like the ones he created in the Fifties. Women wore pencil skirts and put on make-up and sprayed on a scent that radiated elegance.

A fresh opening of mandarin notes lead into the heart where soft jasmine and sparkling rose notes are blended in an ebullient way. There is nothing shy about this perfume, it makes its presence known. Although there is oakmoss listed, I don't smell much of it, rather a lingering patchouli theme with a touch of amber. Sandalwood and vetiver? I don't know ... have never been good at describing notes.

This is an agreeable perfume - more suited for the young, or maybe, for the young at heart. Crisp and clean - with a stylish outfit for office wear. A daytime perfume ... leave the other Diors for the night.

Oil dupe. Idk if it's close but it smells heavenly; clean, fruity, endearingly sweet but in a subtle way, like a lovely strawberry whisper!

Sweet and sour pineapple and strawberry! I got a miniature online and I love it. Shame the second-hand bottles are so expensive.

I don't how Christine got the idea of adding popcorn to this, but it is really working fine. Floral sweet freshness, versatile scent. A-

Floral-fruity with gourmand hints, very beautiful. Slightly tangy, fresh, and zesty, with an original popcorn note and bright flowers....

Despite the fruity notes (Fruity Floral), maltol, and lightness, it's a good scent: nothing is overwhelming, everything stays subtle: it works!
