a source of freshness from fragrant delicacy and woody spice
Only three fragrance notes transport you to another land and spread the aromatic magic of the sun-drenched South.
Just a few spritzes and immediately a fresh, delicate floral yet spicy scent magic unfolds, whisking you away to a land of longing, where these specially composed notes of “Terra Bella” gently caress the senses, spreading refreshment, relaxation, and well-being.
The magic spell here is not “Hocus Pocus,” but “orange blossom, myrtle, and cypress!”
(... and "Three times black cat!" don’t forget!)

Whispering it to yourself, whether three times or more, conjures an image of blooming orange trees bearing golden fruits in a southern garden, surrounded by a spicy wall of myrtle bushes with their dark green foliage, adorned with enchanting little white flowers.
The special aroma of myrtle slightly recalls eucalyptus and camphor, providing a clarifying and simultaneously fresh and cooling effect.
At least one sprig of it must not be missing at any wedding.
Myrtle branches are considered a symbol of eternal love, even beyond death.
No wonder, since myrtle was already dedicated to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, in Greek mythology.
This fragrant garden is guarded by slender cypress trees, which generously release their green, earthy, and woody scent with slightly balsamic nuances into the warm air, thus joining the chorus of delicate citrusy and spicy air currents.
Thus, “Terra Bella” from the “Collection Privée Christian Dior” becomes a special refreshment on warm summer days.
The Maître would surely have loved to linger here, read, or chat with friends.

François Demachy created a fragrance that makes you smile, refreshes stylishly, and invites you to reapply.
Perhaps that’s why it was also filled into these well-known slender flacons, which enclose 250 ml of this cool fragrance beauty.
(Just pop it in the fridge on hot summer days; the vegetable drawer is ideal for this: and then spray …)

I love this beautiful land that reveals itself to me in this creation and welcomes me fresh and friendly.
Here, nothing bites, nothing is over-seasoned or scratchy; each note flows harmoniously into the whole, like a refreshing stream of scent, missing only the gentle splashing and cheerful chatter that often accompanies these little watercourses.
Even the fragrance wizard Demachy could not capture this: We have to imagine it!

For this, Monsieur Demachy has also shared his thoughts on “Terra Bella,” which inspired him to create this elegant, refreshing fragrance with its Mediterranean charm.
As always, he can express his ideas about this scent much better than I can.
“When composing this composition, I focused on contrasts; it should evoke a landscape with sun-drenched orange trees and cool water like in the canals of the Alhambra.
This creation embodies the spirit of the South and captivates with a fine scent of orange blossom, myrtle, and a hint of cypress.”

Thus, “Terra Bella” is aptly described in conclusion, and my fragrance dream sequence would not have been necessary at all.

The beauty of orange blossom
The apartment she lives in is clean, tidy, well-ventilated.
It mainly smells of orange blossom.
Creamy, soft, high-quality.
This fragrance has signature potential (not for me, as it's too nice and unremarkable, but I think it would appeal to many women).
Ideal for everyday wear, the office.
Not intrusive, yet uplifting.
Suitable for spring and summer.
Not very complex, but still pleasing.
Longevity is moderate.

One perfume enthusiast said it would be a very lovely scent on a woman. Or does the woman make the scent beautiful?
Bella is even in the name ;)
In general, a lady who wears it is elegant, feminine, well-dressed, courteous, and optimistic. At least, she smells that way.

This impression only solidified over time, not during the first test.
However, I believe that those around her will be convinced from the very first whiff.

For me, it's perfume incarnate boredom. Bitter orange blossom with unidentifiable greenery on a hint of cypress. There are better colognes for...

Delicate green wrapped in sunny citrus charm embraces softly fragrant orange blossom. Woody finish. What a lovely summer scent.

Do you know the land where the lemons bloom? These wonderfully spiced orange blossoms enchant and open the way to the refreshing land of fragrance.

For me, one of the nicer new ones. Very well-balanced freshness with a hint of woodiness. A good mood scent for summer.

Orange blossom, myrtle, cypress. Fresh, fruity, Mediterranean, aromatic. Hot sand, blue sky, lush vegetation, mineral cliffs.

Brilliant opening of bergamot, lemon, and orange - this sharpness nails a smile on your face, then it’s dry-spicy-woody!

Freshness à la Bella Italia. I'm sitting on a wooden bench in the orange grove + enjoying a cool lemon soda. Nothing stings. Nice, but too expensive.

Spraying it on the go without depth, but it gives a feeling of comfort even in summer heat. I like it.

Dior, stop! After the cologne start, it stays nice, fresh, clean, with a bit of spice. Not bad, but interchangeable. Way too expensive for that!

Nice mix of citrus notes, orange, and woody notes. Way too expensive for an Eau fraîche style fragrance and not original enough.
