Green and Blue - the Barrique-Vetiver
A full-bodied peppery grapefruit welcomes AugustA's nose. A velvety shade of green will soon be added. Full of pulsating vetiver, fresh, woody, grassy and earth and sky in one. So green and blue - in the best sense of the word.
The rose adds a flowery, almost fruity moment, it is deep dark red, but is not decorative or captivating in the foreground, especially not soapy. It is large and velvety and has glossy dark green leaves, which adds a serious deep and slightly sinful nuance to the fragrance. At the same time, rose and vetiver appear somewhat melancholic, but grapefruit skilfully balances this with a cheerful laugh. The full life, the smell has for me body like a glass of red wine. Barrique maybe.
The difference to the already great edt is that the edp is fuller and a bit smoky. I feel better, although I also appreciate light and lively fragrances. But the grapefruit beats at the edt in connection with the vetiver at me caprioles in the direction of sweat and sulphur, which I don't really like about me. All the better that the much lower sounding edp doesn't do that and in the end also has a completely different vibe. Please: Try both variants!
