What I Have Been Looking For

Do you know that feeling when you stand in front of your bathroom cabinet in the morning and don’t know which perfume to wear today? When you’re not in the mood for anything extraordinary and just want to spray on a straightforward, fresh, and pleasant scent?

I have been searching for such an everyday fragrance for a long time. And thanks to the very good comments here, I have finally found it.

Yesterday I went straight into the drugstore and tested it. The opening is citrusy fresh. The bergamot comes through wonderfully. Relatively quickly, more of the green and spicy notes join in. The lavender is wonderfully noticeable, but not as overpowering as, for example, in "Pour un homme" by Caron. It is subtly accompanied by sage. Overall, the scent lingers on me for a long time with this fresh, citrusy, green-spicy character. Really very pleasant. You always feel like you’ve just taken a shower. After about six hours, it fades a bit but remains close to the skin, still perceptible in the interplay of tonka bean and tobacco.

Overall, I would rate the longevity as above average. The sillage, however, is really just average.

My predecessors described the scent as an all-rounder or season-independent. I would wholeheartedly agree with that.

Best regards
