You wonderful one…
when I unpacked you from what is probably the most exquisite packaging I have ever seen, I didn’t like you,
You whip the incense in your face worse than a priest at Christmas mass.
So much so that you remind me of Amouage Interlude. But I already have that one, not another, so back into the packaging you go.
After a short time, however, I notice that you settle down, you become soft and warm, almost cuddly. You remind me of an evening by the fireplace with crème brûlée.
The incense takes a back seat and a lovely vanilla-woody scent with good sillage spreads out. You enchant me and even those around me appreciate you.
You are a real compliment catcher.
You are far too unknown for what you deliver and make me curious about the other fragrances in the Velvet line.
