Lemon Foam with Nivea
Well, first of all, it's clear: D&G Light Blue is the absolute mainstream fragrance. You smell it everywhere and practically on every office colleague.
Somehow, everyone has had it at least once, whether they bought it once or repurchased it.
When I first smelled the fragrance on a test strip, I was quite taken with it. It was summer, and the lemon stood out to me as "fresh and fruity".
So I added it to my shopping cart, thinking: "You can't go wrong with this; it's definitely good enough for a summer scent".
Well, I thought wrong; after about 1 hour, Light Blue develops into a lemon foam on me that becomes overwhelmingly sweet and synthetic.
In my perception, it also adds: NIVEA CREAM...
Like freshly moisturized after getting up with a greasy face and cleaning my glasses with a glasses cleaning cloth.
Honestly, I can't smell Light Blue anymore.
The top note is, as mentioned, very citrusy, but after that, it just becomes overpowering.
Fortunately, the fragrance doesn't really last long!
