For the nature spirit in me....

Finally, I treated myself to it! :)

After circling around it for so long, first Golden Light Wood for the softer variant due to the fragrance notes, and then Cristal Creek Wood for what I felt was the more suitable variant of the woodies, I am glad I did not regret this blind purchase.

I already thought I would like it, as I am a big fan of Dsquared2 fragrances, and even though I haven't sniffed or tested it in any perfume store so far, I am simply thrilled and head over heels…

But enough of my enthusiasm, back to the scent (experience! ;)):

She Wood starts off quite pungent in the top notes, and the woody note is immediately present.
However, I find the wood note rather soft and not sharp. For anyone who might be a bit cautious with woody notes, I can reassure you that it does not smell like old oak or a barn! ;)
Rather, it’s like a walk in the early morning through the forest, you can smell the dew-fresh ground. The air is fresh, but also slightly sweet.
The light sweetness is never intrusive or unpleasant, but rather an absolutely rounded sweet freshness that runs through from beginning to end.

I am already looking forward to proudly wearing She Wood in the office jungle.
Let’s see if the compliments are similar to those for the other woodies ;)

Yes, the Woodys are all great. I just treated myself to the "Velvet Forest Wood." ;-) Even my husband was impressed and - oh surprise - interested in a PERFUME (!!!). :-)))

I love the Dsquared2 fragrances too... I really like the wood variations and unfortunately, I only have Crystal Creek (smells like stone and wet twigs... so wonderful). I've been eyeing the regular Wood for ages... and the Golden Light... *sigh*
