Original wood EDP actually is the reform version of 'He Wood EDT'........

*If 'He Wood' wasn't discontinued few years ago and it was still in production,this is how it would smell nowadays ....So if you looking for a substitute to your discontinued 'He Wood EDT', Original Wood EDP is the way to go!

Although Original Wood is an EDP,you need a heavy dose of spray's to get a good performance. Overall i'm happy that the 'He Wood' DNA is back!
(My only complain is the bottle / It doesn't match with the smell ..)

I was one of the first to own "He Wood" (2007/08). And I have never forgotten it. Unfortunately, it was discontinued years ago. That was the prologue. Because now He Wood is back! I can't smell any significant difference from the original Wood.

Original Wood combines many woods and has slightly aquatic and, above all, spicy undertones. There’s also patchouli and vetiver, with amber providing good longevity as it often does. It lasts a solid 6 hours on my skin, which is about the same as the He Wood back then. The sillage is subtle but still perceptible at arm's length. The bottle is top-notch, with a magnetic cap and a good sprayer. The price is quite high, 30ml for €52. However, the fragrance has only recently hit the market. If you’re into woody scents, you should definitely check this one out. Very masculine, very unique.

The scent takes me back to 2014 with the edition of the completely wooden encased bottle! Awesome! 1:1

I also find the new bottle very appealing in smoky glass… discovered it by chance at the airport and fell in love again right away.

I like it a bit better than the eau de toilette back then! It has a different note. More intense / warmer without losing the woodiness!

Now, please, a remake of the rocky mountain from 2008 :)

When I first tested this fragrance, I didn't really like it... but I gave it another chance and I must say that was an absolutely right decision. It is woody, fresh, and also spicy, simply top-notch. It lasts about 7-8 hours on me and the sillage is average... I find it best suited for walks with the dog through, for example, a forest, that's where it belongs and where it feels comfortable. How it behaves in other situations I can't say yet as I haven't owned it for long. From what I've noticed so far, it's an absolutely top fragrance that flies under the radar. Few people know or own it, and you definitely don't smell like a standard 0815 guy, so thumbs up from me.

Even though the signature of Original Wood doesn't fully match my taste, it is objectively quite successful and well-made. The longevity on my skin is over 10 hours with a solid sillage.

The top note starts refreshing, maritime, green, spicy-herbaceous, and somewhat synthetic with aromas of violet leaves, shower gel, ivy, fig leaves, as well as cardamom. The heart note moves predominantly in a woody direction. I am reminded of a rainy walk in a deciduous forest, cedarwood, and sandalwood. The base has a slightly earthy scent with hints of vetiver, oakmoss, and patchouli.
