Flower bouquet in chlorinated water
I often use the statement function to capture a first impression of a fragrance. These are often associations or fantasies ... and "Hypnosis" sends me directly into the so loved and hated swimming pool. Loved, because childhood memories of carefree splashing around, summer outdoor pools on green lawns and water ice come up, hated, because the chlorine hovers in the air like a corrosive cloud and leaves an unpleasant film on the skin. Loved, because the shower afterwards with mummy's rose soap leaves a pleasant feeling and hated, because after the cleansing shower one still necessarily tapps into a stale chlorinated water puddle on the toilet.
