Summer, sun, sea-a well-kept aquatic aquarium
The name says it all. Capri: Summer, sun, sea, wind, Uralub - these are the images this perfume tries to suggest to us from the first notes on. The things are packed, we have our beach gear, chic sunglasses and big sun hats on, get on a fast, luxurious motorboat decorated with chic flower arrangements, and "fly" over the waves, dwindling towards the beach...
In other words: the fragrance is aquatic (maritime) for my nose in the first line and floral-fresh only in the second.
The fragrance starts with a clear chant of freesia, jasmine, heliothrope and peach (which gives the fragrance a certain minimal fresh, juicy and fruity acidity), is pronounced fresh and floral and reminds me in this phase very much of Vera Wang Parfum/Vera Wang.
But then, barely 15-20 minutes later, these floral notes increasingly move into the background to make room for the aquatic chord. It smells like the sea now, salt!!!and wind with a deep floridity.
For me the fragrance mutates more and more towards a Gres Cabotine Flanker, namely towards "Cabotine Eau Vivide". The two scents are almost twins to me. Cabotine Eau Vivide, however, has an unpleasant synthetic charge of mochus for my nose and a lower shelf life. Whereas the Mochus of "Un Bateau" works fully in order and very moderately dosed and the shelf life and the Sillage of fragrance I feel as very satisfactory, therefore over 5 hours
Whether you should test the fragrance or not depends on whether you love aquatic notes in perfumes or not.
For summer this is a great fragrance and definitely unisex (because the many flowers quickly fade into the background).
