The fragrance lives up to its name. I own a small bottle of pure white musk and smelled both right next to each other. "Musc Blanc" starts off just like this pure white musk. Of course, I can't tell if they are the same chemical compound. because the term "white musk" can stand for different substances. The scent, however, is almost identical at first.
Later, other fragrance notes are added, but none of them stand out significantly from the white musk, but they transform the white musk note somewhat, which makes the fragrance more interesting.
The fragrance is solid and well wearable, even if the dominant white musk is not quite my cup of tea. With me, he always evokes the association of Nivea cream.
With real musk from the musk animal, this fragrance has nothing to do. Real musk is, even diluted, not creamy, but clearly animalic. This also applies to other forms of musk, such as from the muskrat.
The sillage of "Musk Blanc" is not particularly strong. The durability, on the other hand, seems to be good.
