If you were ever in search of a fragrance that mimics the exact smell of clean linen, here it is!

The best, most versatile, iris I've smelled to date, bar none. If you want to smell like fresh, clean, linen & have everyone inhale you as you go by, spray some of this on and noticably see people inhale deeper in your presence.

It's of my opinion that, to a point, luxury designer fragrances are now on par with niche fragrances and sometimes better. True, they're not as quirky or daring as their niche counterparts, but designer companies have more funds to invest into R&D who in turn create focus groups to insure their products will be well received by their target demographic. At least in most cases. Definitely in this case.

Phenomenal juice this is!

The perfection of Florentine Iris

I'm happy that Zegna has released the EDP version of Florentine Iris (FI) & I bought it from Zegna boutique without a hesitation.
What make the different between the original version & EDP version is the EDP version has better longevity & sillage than the original FI. 1 spray on my skin last for 7-8 hours.

The EDP has a strong floral scent (maybe violet play the role) & I don't get the strong lipstick vibe from FI while the original FI consists of light floral & more fresh vibe. Based on my opinion, it can be unisex fragrance. Woman can try to wear it since the scent is a little feminine to me.

IMO, It can be wear almost all season or every occasions. It has a pleasing scent, yet it has differentiate itself from other safe & mass pleasing fragrances (YSL - Y EDP, Acqua di Gio - Absolut Instinct). If you bored about the current mass pleasing & safe scent, you should get a try on this perfume.

The price of EDP 100ml will be same to The Original of FI 125ml. It is expensive, but I don't mind to pay the price since I really love Florentine Iris (at least the scent is not synthetic to me).

Well Done Zegna! You did a great job on Florentine Iris.

Meister Proper, Glass Cleaner

After the huge hype I had a great desire to try this perfume. I tried it three times in the Zegna boutique in Frankfurt. I also had a small decant, and it’s hard to understand the popularity of this fragrance.
Florentine Iris literally smells like glass cleaning products with something vomit-inducing added to it. There is almost no Iris here, but lots of violet and musk.
The performance is outstanding.
I like the clothes of this brand, but definitely their perfumes are not my cup of tea.

beautiful photorealistic iris, sweetened by violet and musks. dry iris interpretation - if you can find this gem, snag it while you can. impressive sillage, longevity 8+ hours, and all around smells like clean laundry and sophistication at its finest. its a shame that zegna discontinued this gem of a fragrance.

I smell a interplay of iris and violet on a white musk base.
A scent that is very clear and fresh-floral. In fact, it is the only fragrance in this category that manages to be masculine for me. A scent that perfectly suits a white shirt, for example for the office. Not for everyone, but those looking for a masculine interpretation of a fresh iris will find it here.

At first, pure floral soap. Then it becomes more robust, medicinal, almost leathery. Good & interesting, but at first it smells like my father's wife..
