Bronze Goddess Aegea

I’ve been looking for light, airy, fresh scents for the hottest days of summer, and for that criteria this is an absolute win. On first sniff I find it very evocative; it definitely has those Aegean vibes! The opening is green, a tad citrusy, lots of violet leaf. A touch ozonic. After about 30 minutes it becomes sweeter and creamier, with the coconut milk becoming the dominant note against a background of watery florals.

I’ve got to say, I love it. This is a surprise to me as normally I prefer scents that the neighbourhood can smell, and this one is quiet, clean, effortlessly sexy and put-together. It creates an intimate bubble of sweet yet refreshing scent, and never comes anything close to cloying. It’s everything I hoped, and absolutely perfect for summer. It’s not the longest lasting, but tbh I wouldn’t expect it to be; crazy longevity is not the assignment here and I’m happy to respray.

Elegant and Noble

After the first sniff from the bottle, I was very surprised by the freshness of the bergamot. It came across as very dominant and reminded me strongly of Lady Million Eau my gold at first spray. My first thought was, "quite nice, but can move on." But then the fragrance underwent an unexpected transformation. It suddenly became very warm and soft, revealing a very noble coconut note paired with sweet fig. All of this, however, is very light and airy, like a warm summer breeze. It smells extremely high-quality, yet absolutely unobtrusive. H&S are very subtle. Therefore, a clear recommendation for both the office and the evening. It caresses in a very special way.

Fresh Coconut Summer Scent

Here you get a fresh coconut summer scent. The fragrance is not as sweet as I had expected. In fact, it feels very fresh and light. Longevity and sillage are not very strong with this scent.

Those who enjoy fig and coconut with fresh notes from Italian bergamot will find this appealing. However, I don't get any sunscreen vibes from it. It comes across as too fresh for that.

Green Fig Meets Tropical Creaminess

When I saw the announcement, I was thrilled. Greece is the vacation destination this year. No wonder Estee Lauder is also thinking about how to take their Bronze Goddess there.

And how they can do that. While the summery sunscreen creaminess, which is very reminiscent of Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford, spreads and envelops you, a sweet and later especially a green fig gradually comes through. The scent that spreads especially on the islands when you take a little break in a quiet spot during your lunch break. I'm a fan!

In my current vision, I definitely see myself wearing this this summer. A more detailed review will come when the temperatures really head in that direction.

Estée vacations at the Aegean Sea

Typical Goddess DNA, moderate sillage. Nothing disturbs, nothing is overwhelmingly present. No sticky sunscreen associations. Somehow elegantly crafted. For me, fig (not green, not earthy) and a subtle coconut note are the most prominent. Above all, a hint of citrus lingers. Perfect for the upcoming summer days. Whether those around me notice it is questionable. Personally, I perceive it as a rather intimate scent, for that personal vacation cloud feeling.
