A fragrance with an interesting concep

This is actually a very interesting fragrance. The fragrance is described as a universal fragrance and dedicated to the merchants. Imagine a Silk Road as a network of trading between the countries and civilizations in the past and merchants trade commodities between countries.

This fragrance should have universal characters, to be comprehended by all cultures and countries through history. And Spices play this leading role (universal) to carry this concept. And don't forget, spices were one of the most precious and important commodities in the past. The other notes are the rose, another universal and symbolic flower in all cultures, and incense, as a symbol of religion or in general spirituality. When I see this fragrance from this concept, I truly enjoy that. It feels old school because of the notes. But at the same time it is modern because of other notes like leather, which used here but not mentioned as a note.

Less Frank Herbert Dune Spice and more Posh Spice or Ginger Spice

ELdO's Spice Must Flow is less of Frank Herbert's space spice and more a hybrid of late-90's English pop group members Posh Spice and Ginger Spice. It's a lone, lush, rose, cool and fragrant, and mysteriously blooming in the dry, hot sands where only the prickliest, most pungent, and peppery spices survive. I don't think there's any citrus listed in the notes but there's a mild, sour zing when you first spritz that gives the impression of brightness, and a beautiful cardamom incense note at the dry down that lends a shadowy balance. I would actually call this a rose for people who think they don't like roses rather than a gateway to Arrakis for denizens of Spice World. Wait...what were we talking about?

Spicy & smoky rose

Spice must flow is an spicy and smoky rose perfume by etat libre d'orange. I has some similarities with experimentum Crucis and with other rose based perfumes like oud touch by franc Olivier or une rose by Frederic Malle .
The oredominant note is of course the rose, a bit medicinal. It is mixed with a very nice mixture of spices, cardamom and Ginger, so It has also an acid vibe. The frankincense gives some smoky character and balsámic power. SMF is a very nice rose/incense perfume!!
The longevity is quité good, close to 10 hours on skin, while the sillage is just moderate, but much better than the oerojection un other eldo perfumes. So this perfume has such a good performance for beloging to this brand. The smell is unisex because, although It has a very noticeable rose, It is not a femenine sweet and powdery rose but a smoky and powdery one. I think is better for using with cold weather or during the evening/night. One of my eldo favourite ones.
